From November 7 to 8, educators and project partners gathered at the Städtische Berufsschule für Fertigungstechnik (Municipal Vocational School for Manufacturing Technology) in Munich, Germany, for the final Transnational Project Meeting of the SLEAD project. This meeting marked an important milestone as the consortium reviewed the outcomes of the project, which has successfully promoted the integration of service-learning in European education over the past couple of years.
During the two-day session, team members discussed the project’s achievements, exchanged insights on best practices, and assessed the impact of SLEAD’s resources and training on schools and teachers. With the project coming to a close, the meeting also served as a creative space for brainstorming potential follow-up initiatives to build on SLEAD’s foundation. Ideas for future projects centered on deepening the educational impact of service-learning and expanding collaboration among European institutions dedicated to innovative teaching methodologies.
The SLEAD team looks forward to maintaining the momentum created by this project and exploring new ways to continue supporting educators and students across Europe.
